How to send money to a Payd USD or EUR account

Paying someone who has a Payd account? Ask them for their account details, then pay like you would any bank account. You don't need a Payd account to do it.

What you need from the person you are paying

  • Their USD or EUR account details from the Payd app.
  • The payment type their account takes: ACH, wire or FedNow for USD, SEPA for EUR.

Country rules for USD and EUR accounts

These rules depend on where the account holder lives, not their nationality. They don't affect who can send a payment.

How long until the money arrives?
ACH and wire payments settle within 48 hours, depending on bank cut-off times. FedNow and SEPA Instant settle within minutes.
Do I need a Payd account to pay someone?
No. You pay from your own bank, the same way you would pay any US or European bank account.
Who can open a USD or EUR account?
Anyone with a verified Payd account, except people who live in the countries listed above as not available. In the countries that need an extra check, our compliance team reviews each request.
